Everyday in countries around the world, animals are fighting for their lives. They are enslaved, beaten, and kept in chains to make them perform for humans’ “entertainment”; they are mutilated and confined to tiny cages so that we can kill them and eat them; they are burned, blinded, poisoned, and cut up alive in the name of “science”; they are electrocuted. strangled, and skinned alive so that people can parade around in their coats and worse.
This problem is some what like child abuse, A physical, sexual or emotional mistreatment or neglect of a child. Animals and Children is alike in many ways, they are small and can defend themselves. Both an animal and a child can feel the same in both situations as in they try and protect and defend themselves. Child abuse is more than bruises and broken bones. While physical abuse might be the most visible, other types of abuse and neglect, also leave deep, lasting scars. Neglect to an animal falls into the same as child abuse, Not giving them the right food, water, shelter and health care. Because their misery goes on for so long, animals who die or neglect can suffer just as much as animals who are harmed on purpose. I believe both are equally wrong. But animals don’t have a voice and never will, dogs were domesticated for our needs, they depend in humans to take care of them.
